In 2020, we initiated numerous new partnerships, continued existing collaborations, traveled for research, lectures, and further training purposes, and thus further expanded our network. The range of partners involved extends from cultural and general educational institutions, universities, architecture firms, museums, and artists to experts in restoration and building culture.

Education and science
We continued our collaboration with the Institute for Textile Design and the University of Osnabrück. New impulses came from, among others, the MSA – Münster School of Architecture, Nina Hangebruch (TU Dortmund) and Prof. Jan Kampshoff, visiting professor at the TU Berlin and managing director of modulorbeat in Münster. The Volkshochschule Kassel and the IGP Europaschule Paffrath, which developed its own art project from the THREADS exhibition, also participated in cultural education formats.

Art and artistic practice
As part of our exhibitions and events, we cooperated with nationally and internationally active artists, including, for example, Ayşe Erkmen, Tracey Snelling, Jeongmoon Choi, Nadine Fecht, Markus Vater and Alice Bidault, HGEsch. Musical contributions were provided by Francesco Marzano and Liga Korne (musical intervention at THREADS) and DJ Julian Hügelmeyer as part of the project SPACES UP CLOSE.

Architecture and building culture
With a view to current theories of spatial concepts and building culture in the context of our architecture exhibitions, we worked together with Thomas Höxtermann (Nattler Architekten, Essen), Dr. Stephan Zech (Verein für Baukultur Osnabrück) and Kuhl und Frenzel (agency for architecture mediation, Osnabrück). Further perspectives were opened up by the exchange with Dr. Inken Tintemann (Düren Urban Development Office), Prof. Dr. Elisabeth Timmen (cultural anthropologist, Münster) and Lars Heese, managing director of Redevco DACH.

Museums, collections and lenders
For exhibitions and educational formats, there was an exchange with various museums, collections, artists and galleries. Institutional partners included the DA Kunsthaus Kloster Gravenhorst, the Kunstmuseum Pablo Picasso Münster, the Druckvereinigung Bentlage and Dr. Jan Graefe (Bibelmuseum Münster). In the field of restoration, collaboration with conservator Ludmila Henseler (Rastede) was intensified.

Interdisciplinary formats
For performative and cross-media formats, collaborations were realized with the directors Karin Bucher and Thomas Karrer realized.
These networks form the basis for numerous project-related, interdisciplinary formats and contribute to the further development of content priorities.
