Emotional ties to spaces
The exhibition was about our very personal relationships with the spaces in which we live or work. We develop emotional ties to these spaces because we have certain experiences in them and spend our lives in them. This is reflected, for example, in the traces we leave in the floors or walls of the rooms. These traces indicate that we have a close, even physical, connection to the spaces, that they can tell our stories. Eight artists were represented in the exhibition. Their works make these emotional and physical connections between people and spaces visible.

New dimensions in thinking about space
Working on the exhibition has been very enriching for me personally: I have been able to meet new impressive artists and learn a lot about new artistic techniques that were previously unknown to me, for example, through the works of Swiss artist Heidi Bucher or South Korean artist Do Ho Suh. I also heard from our guests that the artists surprised and impressed them with their approach to the space, opening up new dimensions in the way they think about space.
Creating a Future Vision The motto for the year, “Creating a Future Vision”, is directly reflected in the exhibition, because I hope that after visiting the exhibition, our guests will have asked themselves the questions: How do I live? How do I live? How would I like to live in the future, how would I like to design my house in the future?
The exhibition catalog provides an introduction to the exhibition and explains each of these artistic positions in more detail, describing the respective sphere of influence and providing helpful information.
